Algeciras and Gibraltar are perfectly equipped to receive waste in its Marpol treatment plants. Marpol I A, B and C and Marpol IV are collected and treated. The operations are carried out while the vessels are at anchorage by means of a lighter, or at berth ex truck in both cases the corresponding Marpol certificate is issued.

A treatment plants for ships waste are located at Gibraltar and Algeciras ports fully utilized berth for slop disposal operations.
